He seems to have hit another growth spurt and some 3-6 pants and onesies are already starting to look less big on him, so I'm not sure about this size lasting 3 months. And yet he's pretty low in percentiles so I don't know where it all comes from. We bought a bunch of stuff to visit my parents in FL when he was 4m in March, and then he wore it all this summer. He still fits perfectly in 3-6m short sleeve white onesies and I think will for a while. I think we'll get the least use out of 9m stuff. She is just now 5 months and outgrowing them. So she wore 6 mo clothes for 3 months. I know their growth rate slows some so I am expecting something similar for the 9 mo and 12 mo sizes. She is about 75% for weight and 80%-85% for height. She was actually born at less than 10% for height, and she shot up the first two months (+3" the first month, +2" the second month) and that's probably why she outgrew those so quickly. She still fits in it, but will be in 9 months soon. He was in 12-18 and 18-24 before his first birthday between his growth and CD bum. I think if our future child is a girl I would hold off on the purchasing. It is hard when there is a good deal, so that theory might not work lol. ETA: After his first birthday his growth has slowed down and I feel like we have been in 24 months forever...at least since mid-summer. Three months and has been in Carter's 6 months for three weeks. I bought summer clothes in 9 months and totally regret it bc there's no way it'll fit once its warmer. He has pretty much fit every size perfectly throughout his first year. He is now wearing 12-18 month clothes in Gap, Old Navy, Carter's and Joe Fresh, but I can still squeeze him into a couple of 6-12 clothes. Cobi is still in 6 and 6-12 month stuff and he's 12 months old. He's been in 6 months of almost 6 months! And the 3-6 mos onesies even longer! But I'm assuming 12 months will fit him the longest??? DS isn't due until August, but I raided the Carter's sale last night and bought mostly 6 month clothes with a few 9 months. I'm wondering if I pre-bought a good size or if I should return some of them.
