DS is almost 1 and has been in 3's for awhile! I foresee him in them for a bit longer. Like others said, each kid is different in size and height so it's hard to say which size to load up on. Diapers also overlap in size so 3 and 4's are good to load up on bc I think 3's are like 18-28lbs and 4's are 22-34lbs! </p> <p>I used two boxes each of newborns and 1's.
