She went straight from crib to twin since we need the crib for baby next month. We got a low twin with a flat platform....no box spring needed and a guardrail. We converted her crib into a toddler bed a few months ago, but that didn't work at all. We've decided to buy a normal sized mattress and transition it into a floor bed before buying a frame.
