We have a used Full frame in the basement that I think will be her next step. DD2 will either stay in the crib (converted) or go into the toddler bed. That last 4 days. He hated it and refused to sleep in it. Next was a twin, platform bed, very close to the floor. We were able to take the front rail off of their cribs, and it works just fine. Is there a reason I shouldn't do this? This includes a bed for DD2 as she's in a crib now. What size of bed did you start your toddler out in? We did a twin with DD1 but then a few months later moved her to a full, it was necessary! I think we will start DD2 out with a full right away so it will just grow with her.
