We have a Clek Fllo. We bought it for:
- Easy to clean (LO gets car sick very easily)
- Upright and high position (again, for the carsickness)
- Safety
- It came in pink :)

We had four Graco recommendations from CSFTL bc DS is tall but we ended up with a Chicco NextFit because of a combination corporate discount and gift cards making it a few dollars. We went with it bc CSFTL said it was a great seat, just not the longest RFing one for tall kids and bc easy installation is super important to me, as it was for our infant bucket (which was an UB Mesa). I am the official installer in our family but in case DH or someone with less patience than me was reinstalling, I needed to make sure the install was solid. I figured even if DS outgrew his seat earlier than I wanted another baby could use it (I was right DS2 is due in May!). I also prefer non rethread harnesses and our seat also has a lay flat crotch buckle that makes buckling up so much more convenient. The seat is also extremely comfy for DS.

We're going with a Maxi Cosi convertible. There were a few things I liked (1) fabric is good for warm/ hot climates, (2) comes with an infant insert, and (3) smaller foot print for my car, but I can RF for a long time.

I looked for something that would fit in my small car (Nissan Versa), had high RF limits, and had nice fabric. We got a Graco MyRide 65 and are very happy with it.

The things I look for are easy install, no re-thread harness, and that it's easy to use (not just install). I find my Maxi Cosi Pria so annoying because it's hard to tighten the straps, it's hard to loosen them, and the button to unclick the straps is like impossible to get undone with one push. I always have to push it multiple times to get the buckles out.

DH's Nextfit is so much easier all around to use than my Pria. The next time we buy seats I'm going to make sure they're easy to use.

We specifically took DD and looked for something she'd be comfortable in b/c she's so fussy in the car.

At the time we had a sedan with no Latch, so we were looking for something easy to install with a seatbelt and that didn't take up a ton of room front to back, plus high RF limits. We got a chicco nextfit, no complaints. Now we have a newer SUV and the latch install is so easy.

I looked for easy install, harness we didn't have to rethread, and washable cover. Although now I really wish I would have checked for MACHINE washable! We generally don't eat in the car, but I underestimated how messy she could get even without food...

DD is the 99% for height so we looked for a seat that she would not outgrow rear facing by height. Next priority was a seat that would likely keep her harnessed forward facing until a safe booster age. Then we looked for premium latch connectors or a nice lock off feature. We used car seats for the littles to do most of our research - that gave us our top 4 seats. We then went to the store and tested them in our cars to see how they fit and how easy they were to install, that narrowed it down to 2. We then went back and tested DD in them and that narrowed it down to 1. We got the Graco 4ever and are really pleased.

When buying your LO's car seat, what did you look for? There are SO many car seats with different features, I'm always curious what people look for. After having a car seat that I don't love I made sure to read up more on the next size up for LO, and ended up with a Graco Argos and I love it. We will likely get the same for LO2, unless something else sparks my interest before then.
