It's a hybrid of springs with memory foam on the top 1/3. We're looking for a bed frame/headboard that we both like, but DH isn't a fan of upholstered headboards and I can't stand wood ones - haha. @shopaholic that looks great! Our room definitely isn't finished.. we need new sheets, and buy the shams to match the duvet. We also want to paint our nightstands and get a storage bench. We have a regular queen, not headboard or anything now. I'm hoping to get the Pottery Barn Valencia ii bed as long as it suits the tempuerpedic and fits in the master. Our queen will go into the nursery for now, no headboard still (but on the basic metal bed frame, so at least it isn't on the floor.) ETA: adding the store photo-- not our actual bed. But it was $100 more and we wanted to keep the costs low as possible :) we are really happy with ours!
