He also gets almond milk or coconut milk when we have that. I personally hate milk so I drink a lot of almond milk. BUT he mostly only wants water and gets upset if we give him anything else. The dr recommended we switch to skim. I was worried about brain development and was apprehensive to change. She told me that he needs whole milk until 2, because it has good fat for brain development. At 2 they go down to 2% and when DD turned three she said DD could have 1%.
