We still don't have stockings because we wanted our LO's to match so now I'll need to find some.</p> <p>We lay out their shoes the night before st.nicks day (eve of Dec. 6th) no one does this! I think it's just a German thing? Anyway, we fill their shoes with little gifts. DS was so excited about his last year and this will be DD's first year. My parents did it growing up and it made me excited for Christmas to come. Chanukah isn't a huge holiday for us, but we still do celebrate. I think my only tradition for LO is that I want to have some sort of Jewish/Chanukah/Judaica gift for her every year to build up her collection. I'm going to make all of our stockings out of vintage red and white chenille.</p> <p>I'm also flying home to the states with her. My mom and I will sit her with us while we bake cookies. My mom and I have made cookies together every single year since I was born. She used to sit me on the counter while she scooped them out. I don't even remember not doing it.
