With our timing and nap schedules it's rare that we would be out in the sun long enough to need to reapply anyway. Like @edelweiss: I care more about how easy it is to apply. I've heard anything over 30 SPF isn't necessary but I don't know how true that is. The girls use 50 SPF which seems to be pretty standard for most kids lotions. I have noticed some of the more natural ones are around 30 SPF. </p>
