But that's just because of personal preference - He was a super easy newborn and we've been very lucky in the sleep department for the most part.</p> <p>The hardest was probably the past month when his top canines were coming in. I literally thought I was going to lose my mind - constant tantrums, clinginess, and not happy with anything for a straight month. She was fine as a brand new born (hard, of course, but I could handle it). But man was she a difficult infant. Colicky, not sleeping, crabby all the time... Ever since then she has been fairly easy, relatively speaking. Toddler? 2's? 3's?</p> <p>I feel like whatever stage I'm in is the hardest!!! The first time around having a newborn was SO hard, but the second time it wansn't so bad afterall. Now DD1 is 3(!) and she's the best/worst person ever. I'd say the 3's are hardest. Or maybe it's just first borns that are the hardest? </p>
