She used to chew on raw hides, but only will if another dog is around now. He can still play and run, but also will sleep for hours and hours. We give him Cosaquin too (um when I remember) but the vet isn't concerned if it isn't bothering him. One is an adult--he's 5. our other is 1--she still acts like a puppy but maybe she's a young adult now? they're shelties and have really long life expectancies--my in-laws last 2 shelties each lived to be about 16 </p>
