@juli7: Oh laying it flat sounds like it would work! I actually haven’t used that stroller yet as a friend just gave it to me so I didn’t realize it reclined that far. Thanks!

I would bring the double, but be prepared to baby wear too. We went in October (with a 1 year old and 3 year old), and there were times both kids fell asleep in the stroller! Having the stroller wasn't as annoying as I thought it would be, and I don't think a double would be any more difficult than a single. Plus, the city mini is easy to fold quickly if you are using disney transportation.

There are different adapters for the city mini single and double. The one for the double kind of sucks. We just laid the seat down flat and used a summer infant positioning pillow when my son was an infant, and that worked well.

When we went, our kids were 4 and 2, and they would ride in the stroller when we walked from land to land, but then we would usually park it in one place and walk to all the rides that were close to each other.

But I would definitely say you need something they can both sit or stand on, because there's a lot of walking. We have a Chicco Bravo for 2, so usually one would be sitting in the front and the other sitting or standing on the back part but definitely more efficient for them to stroll rather than walk.

I wore my almost 2 year old and had a CityMini. Wearing him was way easier than a stroller. There are so many strollers at Disney that it was hard for him to walk. People were running him over. If it were me, I would bring the Bob and babywear. If your toddler wants to walk you can always park your stroller and pick it up later. That is what we did.

@Jennibenni: According to Baby Jogger, there are different adapters for the single vs. double citi mini. Since they all clip into the the little stroller ports though, it seems strange they wouldn't be interchangeable.

@Jennibenni: It worked with my City Mini double GT so I assume it works for the City Mini regular double. But I do know it took my dad and my husband together a fair amount of time to figure it out.

Does anyone know firsthand if the car seat adapter for a city mini works with the double version? I cant seem to figure that out from the product description.

We are going to Disney soon as well and all my veteran friends absolutely insist that I will want the double stroller.

Definitely double. But I would also bring a carrier so you can bring baby on the rides that you want to take him on. You'll find that he can go a lot more than you think and you can hold him - He can go on almost all of the rides, really (besides the roller coasters). When you do go on a ride where you can't bring him - ask the Cast Member for a Rider Swap. Example: Your Dh and Lo1 ride Splash Mountain and get a Rider Swap while you wait back with Lo2. Then using the Rider Swap, you and Lo1 can ride while Dh stays back with Lo2.

Double stroller for sure. You won’t be taking the baby on any rides, so the majority of the time, I don’t think it would matter that you can’t bring it in line with you.

I would do the double. There are so many like tons of strollers there and it just would be too much with taking 2 strollers. Sadly Disney World is one of the most stroller unfriendly places I have been. We took our double ( Britax b-ready so not side by side) with our 1yr old and 3yr old. And when we waited in line you couldnt take your stroller so definitely be ready to babywear.

This is tricky because there is SO much walking. I wouldn't rule out baby wearing for waiting in line because that's a must BUT I would do a double stroller as long as it's easy to maneuver.

We are going to Disney world for a few days in a couple of weeks with our 2.5 year old and 2 month old. I’m trying to decide what stroller setup would be best. We have a snap n go (which is what I currently use with the baby in his car seat), a Bob single, and a city mini double a friend just handed down to me.

We could just take both single strollers, although it seems like if our older son wants to walk it would be hard for that parent to keep up with him and push the empty stroller.

We could take just the bob and baby wear, I’m just not sure if that would be tiresome and I do think it would be better to have somewhere to put the baby.

We could take the double but I haven’t been able to figure out if the car seat adapter works on a double city mini or just the single.

Any theme park experts/veterans want to share their thoughts?
