With my 1st, everything hurt - my pubic bone felt like it was breaking in two, the swelling causing carpal tunnel and itching, round ligament pain, horrible indigestion. </p> <p>And then I didn't realize how truly different each pregnancy could be. Every day. All day. All Week. All month. Month after month. I know I'm really lucky that I was never REALLY sick, and really only even "pretty sick" for like two months. But I just felt OFF the entire 9 months and it was really hard on me mentally/emotionally.</p> <p>About myself: Could not have cared less about reading books about pregnancy or babies. I think not drinking, sleeping a ton, and drinking a lot of water did wonders! During pregnancy we're told to take it easy and to not do anything but the barest minimum in terms of exercise, and it's just false and obnoxious. I managed to avoid extensive deconditioning and felt great my entire pregnancy.
