We tend to keep it at 70 in the winter, 72 in the summer. My husband is gone for most of the summer, so I can get away with keeping it higher and using the fans for a cool breeze, but as soon as he comes home, he turns it down and I freeze.

Our heat is on 64-65 usually and we are installing a new AC unit so I'm not sure what we will keep it at yet. Maybe 72? I'm cheap and don't like paying too much for gas and electricity!

i like it right around 76 - especially at night, but the hubs keeps it at 78 (or the ac off) and even though i pump it to 76, he'll put it on "auto" so it runs back up to 78 after a few hours. WTHeck man. im in my last stretch of this pregnancy and get incredibly HOT easily (and um we live in TEXAS). =(

and yes, 2 degrees can make a big difference!

78 when home during the day. 76 for sleeping.

I guess our family just gets cold easy? I'm seeing everybody else's temperature and I'd have to bundle up in the house, and I'm not a skinny mini thing. :)

71/72 in the winter, 75/76 in the summer. I'm always freezing! The master BR is set to 65 winter/77 summer during the day and 68 when we're sleeping.

68 in the winter (when we're home and awake, 64 when we're away or sleeping), and 74 in the summer. We try to go without the AC when we can, both of us would much rather have the windows open. Our house is older (built in 1940) and we desperately need new insulation. It's super expensive to heat in the winter.

Currently, the A/C is set to 75. It'll be 72 when summer is here in full force.

76 for the AC in summer, and 66 for the heat in winter! I hate paying utilities, so we just bundle up when needed!

69. DH and I run warm, as does the baby. 75+ is outside my comfort zone for sleep.

We can't set an actual temperature since we live in an old building and have radiator heat and use window AC units, but I will say that unless it's 10 degrees outside during the winter we usually have our radiators turned all the way off and in the summer the AC goes on full blast pretty much the entire time we are home. We both get really hot and I guess the fact that we get a lot of sun makes it a lot warmer in our apartment.

I'll keep the AC at 77. In the winter, the heat is usually at 65.

We HATE high utility bills, lol.

My husband and I both tend to run cooler than most. In the winter, we keep our house at 74 and in the summer we keep it at 72.

However, since entering the third trimester I am ALWAYS hot so I keep turning the temp down to 69 or 70. This is driving my poor husband insane. He is always freezing and teasing me that I am forcing him to live in a meat locker. From visiting other people's homes, I feel like 69-70 is more like what most people keep their home at normally though.

What is your thermostat set to?
