If it we up to my husband he would have it set at 60 year round. If it was up to me, I would set it at 75 year round. Unfortunately, for that reason most houses have pretty crappy heating/cooling systems, unless they are newer construction. So our house is pretty much whatever temperature it decides to be on a given day. We mostly try to regulate the temperature by opening and closing windows, sliding doors, and blinds. That works well about 90% of the time. We also have some pretty pathetic heat for the winter. I aim for 68-75 when we're home during the day and 60-70 at night (depending on the season).
