Now with DS, we usually just checkout when we leave for breakfast (if off property), or after returning from breakfast (if eating on property). They don't usually charge you extra. One time was when we went to Vegas and they charged us. (We checked out of the room, walked around, were super tired so we asked them if we could have a room for the afternoon. They gave us a room from 12-4pm. It was the best money spent because, otherwise, we would have roamed Vegas (in 100 temps) until our flight. It was well worth it.)</p> <p>About an hour or so before check out (you could ask about it when you check in), I call the front desk to ask. Usually they have to check. I have never requested a late check out and never will.
