@ElisaT: Nursing makes it so worth it! I do it for him, and I know he benefits from it. :)

@babyboecksmom - I hope your LO gets adjusted to the new noises at day are so you can sleep better at night! My LO took a bit to adjust to naps after I went back to work and it's getting back to normal now.

@obxwife - I nurse LO around 6am when she wakes up and I pump at 10, 1 and 4, then nurse LO at 630 before bath and 745 for bedtime. Pumping is a major PITA!!!! But I love nursing. =)

@obxwife: I think it's because she's not sleeping during the day. She's a light sleeper, and there are a few screamers in her class. So if she actually does fall asleep, she wakes up as soon as she hears a loud noise. Instead of getting nice 1-2 hr naps, she's only getting 30 min ones and then she's messed up for the rest of the day (and night) :-(

I pump at 3:30am before work, pump at 7 or 8am, 10 or 11am and at 3pm. I hate pumping at work!

@BabyBoecksMom: Oh no! My LO starts daycare May 28 but I've been back to work since May 1st, my MIL and mom watch him throughout the day right now.
Is it because you are away? Schedule is off? Or the daycare itself? Sorry, I'm a pest! LOL
Hope you get your supply back - and feel better!

@obxwife: Wow! You get to sleep from 9 to 6:30?? My LO used to do that, but since she went to daycare she sleeps horrible at night.

My schedule is a lot like yours. I usually pump around 10 or 11 and then again around 4. I'm trying to get 3 pumping sessions in now because I completely lost my supply this weekend after being so sick :-(. I'm up to about 1/2 what I used to produce. I would love to be able to pump every 2 hours, but it's just not possible to take a 30+ min break that often.

@LivsMama: Wow, every 2 hours?! I'm glad that you found that it helped with your supply though. I was worried only pumping twice between 8-4 would diminish my supply but I'm lucky, I think my body is adapting.

My schedule is normally:
6:30-7 - BF
10/10:30 - pump
1:30/2 - pump
5/5:30 - BF
8:30-9 BF
9-6:30 - SLEEP FOR ALL! :)
Repeat! LOL

Im very strict - 9, 11, 1, and 3 while at work. I had supply issues for awhile though, and I found that pumping every 2 hours was the only thing that maintained my supply while at work. She also nurses in the morning when she wakes up and once before bed

And yes, pumping at work is a HUGE PITA.

My LO is 10 weeks old and as of right now, we are strictly BF'ing. It's gone great so far but pumping at work is a PIA! I try to feed him at 7 before coming in, then I pump at 10/10:30 and again at 1:30-2 but sometimes it's really hard to get away from my desk.

For instance, I've got a customer right now and I'm not sure how long they'll stay... I can't just get up and leave but all I can think about is "I HAVE TO PUMP NOW."

How strictly do you stick to your BFing/pumping schedule?
