Thankfully we have before and after school care that my kids LOVE so they can get there as early as 7 am and get picked up as late as 6 pm. Middle school is 8:00 and high school is 7:30. Early release one day a week at 1:30. We can drop off starting at 7:40. Works well for us. I'm lucky that our daycare is in our district, so she'll be taken care of by them before and after school every day including early release days. Our early release is at 11:55! I seriously don't know how families that can't/ don't use daycare do it! But last year, when hybrid, DD was part of the afternoon cohort so we didn’t have to be there until 12:30. And when they went back full time in April they shifted the start of the day by a half of an hour - so drop off was 9-9:20.
