I honestly prefer sitting outside. We usually have some chairs in our garage and get out our fire pit like @Mrs. Jump Rope.<br /> The rule around here is lights on = candy lights out means walk by. In our neighborhood, everyone sits at the edge of their driveway to pass out candy. We bring the firepit down.
