But not always consistently, sometimes it's a little earlier if he misses his late afternoon nap, and sometimes a little later if he oversleeps in the afternoon. I think around 3-4 months it was around 7:00. I prefer LO to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier...makes my day much easier. Even though her Dada misses her at night he gets home in time for her last awake time and we give her a bath together and put her down by 6:30 at the latest...then we enjoy our dinner and evening together. We take walks with the dog later in the evening when it is cooler (I hear it is frowned upon to leave an infant home alone), so he usually naps during dinner, then is up for a couple more hours, and the walk is the start of our bedtime routine- this way my husband can spend a little time with him after work. </p> <p>I've talked with our pediatrician about it and she said that as long as he is napping appropriately, there shouldn't be any ill effects for putting them down for the night a little later than average.
