Xander's naps are still pretty erratic (he's 3 months), but I try to put him to bed between 7:00 and 7:30, so I try to make sure he's been awake for about an hour before that. For example, last night, he fell asleep in the car on the way home from daycare (5:30), so I let him sleep until 6:10 and then woke him up. He then went to bed around 7:15.

@birdofafeather: Lo has been at daycare for a little over a month and his naps are still very erratic with no set pattern. He does usually take a 30 min or so nap when I pick him up at 430 and then is down for the night between 630-730 depending how he slept during the day. It's weird bc our daily routine at home is very consistent and he's been STTN for a while but every day his sheet is different on naps. We just upped his formula to meet his hunger so I'll be interested to see if that helps him sleep better during the day.

LO usually takes 4 naps and the latest one is sometimes not over til like 7 pm. But if it's not night time dark, she will only sleep for 45 mins and not for the night, so we just roll with it.

I feel like the last nap for us always ends up in a gray area and could either be a nap or B's longest stretch of sleep. What would you say is too late or too early for last nap? If you go into the gray area and baby is sleeping do you wake them up? My LO is 9.5 weeks and naps are all over the place still but I'm trying my best to start a bedtime routine.
