DD2 turned one last week. Bedtime is between 7 & 7:30 and she wakes up around 8:00 every day. Two naps around 1.5 hours each.

@FaithFertility: She has really high sleep needs. I think if she got 2 naps during the day, she would get up earlier. But, if she naps in the morning, then when she gets up, my toddler goes down, then when the toddler gets up, she goes back down.. which means all they do all day is nap. They start daycare next week and she won't be home until 6pm, and then they have to leave at 850am... I'm very worried about what's going to happen to her sleep when that happens.

LO just turned one this week her whole sleep schedule changed. She goes to bed at 615-645 and is up between 5-6am.

She recently has been trying to drop a nap so some days she has two one hour naps and sometimes one one hour nap.

My DS currently has a 9:00 bedtime which I'd like to move back up to 8:30... he's usually awake between 5:30 and 6; if I'm lucky 7. He takes 2 1+ hours naps during the day.

G will be 1 in 2 weeks. She's in bed by 6pm ( by 5pm she's wanting to go down) and she sleeps right through until 830/9am. She's been doing this for a long time. She only gets 1 nap most day ( she really needs two) but we just dont have time for her to nap twice.

Sometimes if they get overtired, they can have more trouble going to sleep, and can wake up earlier. I read this sleep blog a lot with my first and have implemented all the suggestions with G from the get go, and we've had great success. The website is weebeedreaming.com, incase you want to have a peak through it

My DS is down to one nap and goes to bed by 7:30. We find too he stirs a lot around 6am but will often fall back asleep.

DD had at 6am waking spell from DST till like Christmas, so a whole month! Then suddenly she went back to waking up at 7-7:30.

She was going to bed around 8-8:30.

She's 13 mo now and she suddenly decided to stretch her wake time even longer and since we're still on 2 naps she's been going to bed after 9pm

Bedtime for DS (11 months on Monday) for the past several months has been between 6:45 and 7:30 and he could usually be counted on to sleep until 7:00-7:30 the next day. The last week or so he has been going to bed at the same time but waking up at 6. Every day this has happened we change him, I'll nurse him and put him back down to see if he's still sleepy. He usually goes back down no trouble. We also noticed he's tossing and turning and having a lot of trouble going to sleep. Should we push bedtime back a little or maybe put him to bed earlier? Or is he just needing less sleep now? Is this a growth spurt maybe and he's just wanting to nurse more?
