We are doing my 2 year old's party at 4 pm in December. I know that's a good time because we do play dates then and all the kids are done with their naps. It is a home party so that gives me all day to prep. I'd be stressed with morning time party.</p> <p>All of our friends have kids and that's who we invite, and it ends up being a big social/happy hour for the parents while the kids run around...We have a little open bar and food, so pm works in our little social circle. I get up early and run all week, I don't want to do that on the weekend too. My almost 2-year-old naps around 11:30/noon and so do most of his friends, so attitudes wouldn't be very good at that time. We ended up doing brunch style food. All the kids were in good moods. One of his cousins is a year older than him, so they're both on a napping schedule. All of the kids were well rested for the fun. </p> <p>We're doing his baptism at 11am because of the church. We're planning on him being napless for that which should be interesting. I feel like we wouldn't be finished until 5ish and I'll be exhausted.</p> <p>Thoughts? Would you attend a morning party on a Saturday? </p>
