Every day I brought bottles and cloth diapers/wet bag. We kept in C's cubby spare clothes, jackets, socks, diaper cream, wipes, and pacis. We brought in a photo of us that they framed and kept in the room. They provided all crib sheets, blankets, bibs, etc. Some parents also brought in sleep sacks and loveys.

I dropped formula, diapers and wipes off early--every baby has a cubby.

We provide 3 empty and clean bottles, her wubbanub, a couple of swaddles, and a couple of onesies in a large plastic ziplock bag in a lunchbox every day. We can also provide toys or anything special if she is *really* into it, but i just let E be entertained by everything there

Definitely call them and ask what you should bring in! We only had to provide one crib sheet and one blanket - they wash them themselves!

Then we provide diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, bibs, extra clothes (that they keep there and whenever they use something, I send a replacement the next day), pacifiers.

The only thing we bring in in the morning (besides Xander) is his bottles with BM. Though if he had a lovey, we would probably bring that to and from, but he doesn't have one.

Pacifier, bottles, extra clothes, diapers. That's what they told us to bring.

In the infant room, they provide sheets and wipes and bibs. They do not apply creams or give medicine so none of that is left there.

on a daily basis, we bring her lunch and sippy cup. daycare provides snacks and milk.

I left several onesies, a couple toys I knew she liked, a taggie blanket, bottles/nipples/liners, a couple pacifiers, emergency disposable diapers and wipes.
Each day I bring a diaper bag with cloth diapers/inserts/wipes, a wetbag, a small wetbag for messy clothes, her daily milk in a cooler lunch bag, and now a resupply of food if she is running low.
(LO attends an in-home daycare)
ETA: we also left her pack n' play and two sheets for her there, but again this is a home daycare so things might be very different for a center.

@travellingbee: Definitely ask about sheets before you run out and buy them! Ours didn't need us to bring sheets. Another one we looked at used mini-cribs, so it would have been pack-n-play sheets. So don't buy before asking!

Every day we send 2 blankets (a soft fuzzy and an A&A), a paci on a clip, diapers (we cloth), and a wetbag. What stays there are wipes, some backup 'sposies, and a change of clothing. Also in the bag that goes back and forth every day are Tylenol, a medicine syringe, sunscreen, diaper cream, and a teether on a clip.

@mrskc: oh yeah, diaper cream. BTW, just started using triple paste and I  it. totally worth the extra expense.

@travellingbee: I would ask them about it first. They told me this was their policy. I stopped by a couple weeks before we started to meet the teachers and find out how they wanted everything and what I needed to bring. We had to buy pack and play sheets since the mattress are that size, not a regular mattress. I have friends that their day care provides the sheets and some that they just use for the whole week.

Have you asked what their policy is for bottles and how they have to be labeled? We have to have a label on bottle and top. Then a label with the date, regardless if BM or formula. If BM, it has to have a label with breast milk. I can't even write BM. Then the BM bottles have to be in a Ziploc bag in the fridge, cause of cross contamination.

If you do I bought the sheets at Target $10 for a pack of two. Also, painters tape works great for labels on bottles.

I bring on Monday's 5 crib sheets (they send home one every day if she naps in it), 5 outfits, many too many bibs (she goes through 3 or 4 a day), then keep diapers and wipes there. They let me know when I need to send more. I also keep a pacifier there, even though she doesn't take one. I was sending a Halo Swaddle sleep sack but not they aren't allowed to swaddle, even though it was arms out. I keep a sleep sack there but she doesn't use it.

We start work/daycare next week. So my parent letter said to bring "anything that would make your baby comfortable". What do you bring to day care? And what do you leave there versus bring each day?
