I'm taking my family potatoes to our potluck. I'll be transfering it to a crockpot for work in the morning.
2lbs frozen HASH BROWNS
1 CAN CR OF CHICKEN SOUP
1 PINT SR CREAM
10 OZ. GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE
1/2 CUP MELTED BUTTER
1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
BREAD CRUMBS ON TOP
Mix everything together.
350 DEGREES FOR 1 HR

Or I recently saw a great recipe for crockpot mashed potatoes: http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-mashed-potatoes-in-the-slow-cooker-cooking-lessons-from-the-kitchn-212550

@lamariniere: I mixed together a few different ones that I've made/seen. Most recently I've been making this vegetarian (so bacon on the side not mixed in) and I make it GF, so I use GF flour and use less than usually called for. If you google, the damn delicious recipe is good, but I've modified. You can't really go wrong! ;)

I'd go for an easy dip, like hummous. Just bring along some bread sticks or something similar. Super easy and can be made in advance.

@MamaG: Meatballs can be done the same way (and could be all beef). Throw in frozen meatballs with barbeque sauce and a jar of jelly and you're done.

I have to do the same thing this week. I really like the little smokies idea (who doesn't love bacon?!?!?), but we have someone that doesn't partake in pork. Maybe I shouldn't be trying so hard to be inclusive.

@Umbreon: We actually have free drinks provided by the company :).

I think I'm going to make little smokies. Just put the mini hot dogs in a crock pot with 2 other ingredients and done. Any available time and energy is going to be needed to make the birthday cake.

How about stuffing muffins, Rachel Ray has a recipe. Or how about a relish tray not cranberry relish but a tray of pickles and olives. A relish tray always reminds me of the holidays at my grandparents.

I would bring dessert, or maybe crockpot mashed potatoes? I've personally never made them, but if you did them as a kind of twice baked version?

Not really "thanksgiving" but always a hit at our office is bacon wrapped little smokies (wienies) with brown sugar. you can bake them before and hten keep in a crockpot to keep warm.

If you want to skip the crockpot, you can make a very simple pumpkin dip with gingersnaps and graham crackers.

I have a work potluck this week to celebrate Thanksgiving and I'd like to bring something but I'm not sure what. I need something low effort because I also have to make DS's birthday cake the same night.

I thought about crock pot mac n cheese, but someone's already bringing mac n cheese. Personally, I feel like there's never too much mac n cheese, but I'm not sure everyone else feels the same way, lol. Oh, and I'm not opposed to get something prepared, I already am going to Wegman's the day before to get cupcakes for daycare.
