She went into labor with a list of 5 first/middle name combinations and they ended up naming her from that list but not one of the predetermined combos. I remember he texting me a picture right after their daughter was born with the birth stats and a caption saying "name yet to be determined". They finally named her right before leaving the hospital afterthey had some time to meet her. Whatever name had the lowest total (ie if a name was number 3 on his list and number 5 on her list it would get 8 points) would be the winner. Well there was only ONE name that fell on both lists so that was what the baby was named.</p> <p>Side note... as much as I love my baby cousin I was very mad he (and his little brother) were boys because both would have been named after me if they were girls! Grrr! But for baby #2 I know it's going to be harder. We've already discussed names and haven't come up with one yet for a girl. And since we're going team green we have to have a boy and girl name ready. But neither of us liked the other person's top choice(s), so we compromised on something we liked, just not as much. We had (so I thought) names picked out we both loved. However, as soon as we actually got the BFP my hubby decided he doesn't like the girl name anymore. </p> <p>I'm heartbroken but understand and am in search of another girl name. How do I get the original name out of my head, I can't seem to find one I like more? </p>
