The next summer when she was around 20 months we gave her Claritin on bad days. I suffer too, so the "fresh air" in the house doesn't last long before it causes us suffering! Zyrtec doesn't work as well for her. DS turned two in January and has been really suffering (right along with me) this season. We had a big flux in the temperature and everything yesterday and poor buddy was just looking like death warmed over. He's been complaining of a sore throat and his nose is constantly running, and he's always got phlegm in his throat! We tried children's zyrtec and it didn't seem to do much.. We'll have to try something else. Sneezing, runny nose, red eyes, tiredness, crankiness ... Do kids go on allergy meds or do you ride it out, depending on the severity?
