Como Zoo is fun for toddlers because you can get closer to the animals than most zoos, The Children's Museum in St. Paul is amazing, Mall of America has lots of fun free things to look at and see (fountains, art installations, unique stores, characters and rides in Nickelodeon Universe along with a huge aquarium, The Crayola Experience and a theme park with some rides that your kiddo could ride with you. So if you're fine looking at the sculptures and your 2yo is fine just running along on paths or open grassy areas, you should be good. Not saying it's a bad idea, just setting expectations appropriately! </p> <p>We love North Loop Playground, and you can see the river, or walk over Stone Arch Bridge from there, too.
