The restaurants are the best. I would definitely make the trek out to Loveless Cafe. Food's not fantastic if I remember right. The food's better over at B. B. King's (both of which are downtown on the same street). For history's sake, drop in at Tootsie's. Just don't expect to be able to find a place to sit! For some local wine tasting and a bit of history, head to Belle Meade Mansion in Belle Meade west of Nashville. There's Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg for a long day trip. Then of course the Flying Saucer has the best assortment of beers and their food's good too, right next to Union Station downtown....</p> <p>So much to do, so little time! A couple of my best friends and their husbands/babies are coming too and we're all staying in a house in the suburbs. </p> <p>We'll want plenty of time to sit around and drink wine and catch up, but what else should we do? Restaurants/shows/etc.? We're planning to have the husbands watch the kids one day/night. Maybe go hang out at a fancy hotel pool if we could get in? </p> <p>So far Grand Ole Opry is on my list but that's as far as I've gotten! </p>
