@Littlebit7: I think I will cut out the insides of a classic box- like a box and put the folded notes on the middle. Where could I find something that already has a hidden space cut out?

My husband officiated a wedding last year. He found an old (like really old) book with a worn, loved cover. He cut and pasted the printed words to the ceremony inside the book. And after the ceremony he gifted it to the couple. Its nice because it will have a place on their bookshelf but doesn't scream HEY WE JUST GOT MARRIED for the next 10 years.

@youboots: I'm fairly minimalist too but such a wonderful sentimental gift would pass my "do I need this in my house?" test no problem. I love the idea of framing the actual handwritten pages in a glass frame to see both sides!

Can you frame it in one of those floating frames with glass on both sides? That way it's kind of preserved and they could display just the front but easily turn it over to see the back, and it's pretty minimalist

An acrylic desk frame feels kind of minimalist. Otherwise put it in an envelope and let them decide what to do.

DH officiated a wedding last week for a couple we introduced and are some of our closest friends. He handwrote it on both sides of a couputer sized piece of paper with another small scrap. They wrote their own vows but only his were written down. Originally I was going to scan both sides and frame it- but they are kind of minimalist. I was also thinking of getting a Make & Stow box.

I don't want to spend much since we just attended the wedding in Mexico and had other expenses leading up to the wedding. Not a problem but I want to do something thoughtful but not extravagant.
