Sounds crazy but it works. I wash upside down and squish the conditioner and water in my hair instead of running it under the water. I always use a sulfate/silicone free shampoo and conditioner. Then I put aloe vera gel, a TINY BIT of defining gel, and some mousse into my hair and I "plop" overnight. Its hard to explain, but a common curly hair thing if you google it. Then I blow-dry with my diffuser to get the worst of the wetness out in the morning, and then let it air-dry to finish. If it looks crunchy after it dries, I squish it with my hand until the crunch softens up. I use a spray bottle of water with a little conditioner in the morning to freshen it up. I'll consider the lob, I'll look into some pictures and talk to my hairdresser to see what we could do.
