I bought a soup & salad combo from Panera but was too excited to eat!
I think the excitement kept my energy up throughout, too, I couldn't sleep overnight with the Cervidil in either. (Got it at 8pm, water broke at 5am, DS born just after 8pm next day)

Something filling with carbs, pasta maybe. I was induced and I was sick a lot but the sickness started much later so try to eat as much as can, you will need the energy and once things get going it'll be a long time until you can eat again. Good luck!

Something hearty! We went and had a big bbq dinner before I went to the hospital and it turns out it was a good thing I had a huge meal because they didn't let me eat for more than 9 hours! I was in tears because I was hungry and they kept telling me that I couldn't eat yet. Mind you, my circumstances were blood sugar related.

Not Chinese, lol.

I had planned on eating pancakes when I knew I was in labor but before we went to the hospital. I wish I had. DH said his ross country team used to eat pancakes (no syrup) before meets.

I am scheduled for an induction Thursday morning, but we'd actually go to the hospital Wednesday night to get ripening agent. We wouldn't go to the hospital until about 9 or 10pm. What should I eat for dinner Wednesday night? I know I'll need energy for L&D, so...protein? Carbs? Or something lighter, in case I get sick?
