We also gave him some last week when he had a runny nose and cold symptoms - I had the same cold and my throat was killing me so I assumed his was, too. Like for teething or this past week when I think she had a really sore throat and was crying when she swallowed. It helped. I used Advil since it seems to last longer than Tylenol. He's pretty miserable with his coughing. :(. They had a virus which as now turned into some kind of infection that has congestion, and the ped said their throats are very red and raw-looking so that's probably why they aren't eating well. We've been giving them Tylenol to keep their fever down, but they aren't running a fever currently. Their a few days shy of 6-months, so we haven't ever given ibuprofen.</p> <p>So, my question is would you still give them some Tylenol if they aren't running a fever, but are clearly still hurting, not able to eat, etc.?</p> <p>I know it's okay to give little ones Tylenol for fevers, but I'm just unsure when you should or should not give them Tylenol for other things. When did/do you give your infant Tylenol/Motrin? </p>
