Our boys were swaddling addicts. We tried going to an A+A sleep sack and it was a major fail. Next we tried the Zipadeezip and they love it. They're almost 7 months old and still sleeping in them.

We did SwaddleMe-->Miracle Blanket-->Halo Swaddle Sleep Sack (swaddled around waist)->Halo Sleep Sack

We'll still swaddle her in the bigger swaddleme blanket if she is REALLY upset

we went from swaddling to a halo sleep sack. LO is 6 months old and still using the sleep sack--we let him sleep without it a few times, but his legs can get stuck in the crib slats and the sleep sack helps avoid that.

We went from Swaddleme to Halo sleep sack. Then started swaddling so she still got the tightness on her chest but arms out. We now are starting to do the swaddle loose so we start getting away with not doing anything.

We just quit cold turkey one day. Probably around 2.5 months I think? He was getting frustrated so I just took it off him and he fell right asleep. Never did use the sleep sacks since I forgot to the first time. Didn't seem necessary.

Swaddling did seem to help DD, so when she outgrew the swaddleme, we switched to the Halo Sleepsack swaddle. Because of the design it was easy to transition from that to a straight sleepsack when she was ready (closer to 4 months). We even used them as regular sleepsacks until she outgrew the length.

We went from swaddleme's to a sleep sack called the zipadeezip but E was older and addicted to swaddling lol (it's suppose to help them transition but I don't think it helped that much). She liked the sleep nest Baby Dee Dee after transitioning from the zipadeezip.

DS is almost 2 months old and has outgrown his SwaddleMe blankets. Since he's so close to rolling, should we go ahead and transition him to sleep sacks or should we get more swaddle-type blankets in his new size? Swaddling doesn't seem to have a huge effect on how well he sleeps. Any product you would recommend?
