1. Not sure, depends on whether they provide their own bowls, utensils etc. ziplock will probably be fine.
2. Yes
3. I have yet to lose a sock- my daycare tucks the pants into the socks, not very fashionable but I guess it keeps them from coming off.
4. Rompers and onsies are both fine, whatever your LO is most comfortable playing in and yes, nothing you would be upset over something happening to it.
5. Probably, unless they have a separate sleeping room or something
6. Yes, in case one leaks or spills.
7. Two extra outfits
8. At younger than a year I imagine they most likely do your home schedule, but this will depends on the daycare.
9. I don't think I would bring anything else, I personally think the fewer items to keep track of the better.

Send food in whatever is easiest for you, you shouldn't need utensils, definitely send extra milk because running out is the worst and some babies eat more at daycare, definitely have at least 1 extra pair of clothes for LO per day, if not two and label it. Usually you'll have a drawer it cubbie for extra clothes. Send LO in whatever kind of clothes you normally dress her in. The schedule thing totally depends on your daycare. Don't bring her white noise machine- she's likely sleeping in a big room with other babies. Expect that naps may suck in a new, probably noisier environment. Socks fall off, but my LO has always made it home with her.

Hope that helps!

Does the daycare supply any food? I think sending food in ziplocks is fine, especially for what sounds like short term.

Socks don't fall off anymore at daycare than they do at home. We've always had LO in socks and shoes (except when she was under like 6 months old) at daycare. Ditto to clothes; just wear whatever you wear at home.

I'd bring an extra outfit and socks to keep in the daycare bag, or cubby space if your LO will have a space. I never labeled LO's clothing; there were a max of only 8 babies and nothing was ever lost.

I would send more milk just in case.

Naps are handled differently different places; our daycare is pretty accommodating of home napping schedules (if reasonable), some places not so much. Our daycare has white noise machines in the sleeping areas, so you might ask if that daycare does too.

So I stay at home with my LO and have a nanny very very part time when I go to work. We are going away skiing and will have LO in daycare. They sent a basic list but it was super basic. Diapering stuff, clothing and outdoor gear, bottles and food and that's about it
So I know I might need to do some prep
1. What type of containers are best to send food in? We are flying to get there so I don't want to have to bring Tupperware. She's 9 months, quasi BLW (yogurt, sweet potatoes, steamed veg, pouches, waffles, eggs) Ziplock? Mini glad ware? Do I need to send little utensils?
2. Should I label her clothes?
3. Do socks just fall off and get lost? Should I even bother?
4. What type of clothes wear best at daycare? Rompers? Onesies? Gross stuff that I don't care about if it gets stained?
5. Is it crazy to bring her white noise machine?
6. Should I send more milk than I think she will drink?
7 one extra outfit?
8. Do most daycare adhere to your home schedule or do they make same age babies nap at the same time?
9. Anything else I might want to pack for her (other than a lovey and a sleepsack for naps. But I don't know if the lovey can even go in the crib)

Apologies for some questions that might be "duh". I'll email the daycare once I get a grasp of what the really important questions are.
