I do lean toward dark skinny jeans and a nice top on the occasions that I go out for a grown up evening with my husband so I should probably stay in that lane and just fine a nice top or jacket pairing I like. I have a large array of work clothes. Tons of work out clothing. Plenty of casual wear for outings with my kids. But what the heck do people wear when going out and about for trendy events these days?? My friend is having a girls night/bday party next weekend at an upscale and “cool” restaurant and all of the women attending are generally fairly trendy. The kind of ladies who look effortlessly cool and put together. So I gotta step up my game here. Some ideas please? I live in a fairly cool/temperate area so not too concerned about bad weather affecting “the look.” Seriously, what are the cool kids wearing these days? As an FYI, I’m in my late 30s, so let’s not get too crazy here. </p>
