yoga pants, nursing tanks, and drapey cardigans for the most part. I also bought a set of nursing pjs with a matching robe that made me feel "dressed" and pretty for lounging around the house. They had some lace trim, so it was nice.

Lots of flowy sweaters and leggings and scarves too. (I was on leave during the late fall/winter though!)

While on maternity leave -- a lot of yoga pants plus nursing tanks with a cardigan. If I had to leave the house I wore maternity jeans plus a nursing tank an a cardigan, Eventually I sucked it up and bought a new pair of jeans in a larger size that fit me postpartum

@stargal: No, I don't think the waist is tight. But I would recommend ordering a size larger than whatever you normally wear, because they run a little small. Plus I just think "jeggings" are more flattering when they aren't actually skintight. I ordered my regular size first, and they fit okay, but I got a size larger later on and they are even better.

I loveeee maxi dresses! My favorite is from Target and it is a v-neck with very stretchy/drapey material, so it's so easy to nurse in!

I swear by these Faded Glory jeggings from Wal-Mart... I realize that sounds super unappealing, but I bought them in black, white, and a few bright colors, and they are incredibly comfy, stretchy, and flattering. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Faded-Glory-Women-s-Knit-Color-Jeggings/32353436?action=product_interest&action_type=title&placement_id=irs_middle&strategy=PWVUB&visitor_id=84006637799&category=0%3A5438%3A133162%3A1187317&client_guid=ceaafd11-c6fe-4536-91c8-7cf86e33cb1f&config_id=0&parent_item_id=20863066&guid=dbdc7875-cc89-4525-a6bf-455a4a4e91fe&bucket_id=irsbucketdefault&findingMethod=p13n

I felt more pulled together in these than I did in yoga pants, and they are actually comfier. My only complaint is the back pockets are too high, but I usually wear longer tops so it's not an issue. I've worn them since LO #1 was born, throughout this pregnancy with LO#2, and they will be my go-to postpartum pants next time as well. Also, you cannot beat the price ;)

Yoga pants, tami tanks from Old Navy as an underneath layer (pull the neck of the tami and your nursing bra down, the top layer shirt up, and you have belly coverage), leggings, cardigans, cozy sweaters. Once I started resembling my former shape, I bought some Gap 1969 legging jeans and I LOVE them.

I wore nursing tanks from Motherhood Maternity constantly with my maternity jeans and I could add a cardigan or boyfriend sweater if I needed to. I also loved wearing leggings with long shirts or sweaters if they were easy enough to pull down and nurse with. I was lucky to deliver in September and could still wear a number of my maternity dresses as well.

@Mrs. Oatmeal: that was my uniform all fall and winter. Either nursing tank or old navy tami tank, yoga pants, and a zip up hoodie or cardigan. All the time.

I honesty cannot remember what I wore before it cooled off though. Work out shorts I guess?

I didn't really like nursing tanks, but am a huge fan of seamless camis b/c you can just pull them down, and I'd wear a shelf bra under which I could also pull down. You can put a sweater/jacket/button down/t-shirt/etc over it and anything is nursing friendly!

i wore maternity clothes for a least 3 months! i bought a couple of nursing tops, but in general i just stuck to shirts that were stretchy and i could pull down at the chest to get to my boob, along with a nursing bra.

after my weight loss didn't happen as fast i liked i gave up trying to fit into my pre-pregnant clothes and started buying new clothes that fit my new body.
