Currently, being touched out. I have a newborn who is always on me (which is totally fine and expected). But at be end of the day when DD puts her feet on me while we are watching TV or something I just want to lose my mind and scream. I get so ragey inside. I haven't exploded over it yet, but I'm sure my day will come.

@nana87: yes! Haha. My guy will cry while I toast his toast or microwave his peas. Not because he's starving. Just because once he sees it he wants it now and waiting the 30 seconds for it to heat up is torture.

Whining for something while I'm in the middle of doing it for her. Like, at bedtime when she takes her socks off and then wants them back on and cries for them WHILE I'm putting them on her. Like, just chill 2 more seconds toddler!! Gaaaah lol

Defiance. Whining annoys me but she never does it enough to fully anger me (yet). The defiance angers me but also scares me because usually when I say no to her, it's for a safety reason, so the fact that she has been starting to ignore me is a real problem.

Noodling. Drives me fucking batty. This generally happens when she wants something and I say no and she starts throwing a tantrum. If she's in a safe place and we have time I just let her go. But sometimes I need to remove her from an unsafe place (the crux of the tantrum) or sometimes I said no because we are on our way to doing something and we really need to get moving. In those cases I need to pick her up and I don't care if she screams at me but the limp noodle trying to slide out of my arms things drives me nutssssss. She's too damn heavy for her to be making it that much harder for me to transport her.

I know it's totally expected for his age, but the crying for no reason. Like he has all of his favorite things in the world and he's still upset about something stupid. Or I don't know why he's upset at all. It's so frustrating. I think "I've done everything I can to make you happy, how can you still be unhappy?!" I feel helpless. Like I said, it's normal, but frustrating nonetheless.

But it's also what makes me bite my lip not to laugh on occasion. The reasons he's crying are so ridiculous I have to try not to laugh.

Whining/"unnecessary" crying. Seriously, DD will be three in September and she is acting the part. I'm regularly trying to keep from screaming at her. I'm so tired of the whining and boundary pushing.

Not having enough sleep. Waking up feeling more tired than when i went to bed. Then the toddler loudness and energy drives me nuts. Oh and my newborn refusing to sleep anywhere but in my arms. All this tends to coincide in the morning which is not good.

In general though the two things that make me most mad are toddler indecision and the unpredictability of the newborn. I know they shouldn't but it starts to get to me after a while.... especially on 5 hours of interrupted sleep.

I'm having a really hard time with E disobeying me or doing naughty things deliberately for a reaction; she gets this look in her eye that says "I think I'm really clever" and it makes me RAGE.

Oh and begging (and by that I mean "please, please pleeeeeaaase"). And spitting. And silliness. I hate silliness.

I don't get enough sleep so when my kids are staying up late and refusing to sleep, it drives me insane. Especially if I fall asleep putting them down and then their naughtiness wakes me up - I get really upset. It's the main trigger that causes me to raise my voice these days, which of course only makes matters worse.

This exact scenario happened last night and it took hours to get them down! I realized this morning that my son has been a little under the weather, which explains why he's having trouble sleeping (and the sleep deficit explains a large chunk of his behavior). I have to recover my parenting zen, and not get so emotional when I get woken up by non-listening children. I swear, bedtime can sometimes be so much harder because the kids share a room these days!
