She likes it, although it pains me that she only uses it in automatic mode, despite my lessons on how to shoot in manual and aperture/shutter priority. If you are looking to upgrade I think the new 6D is a good option. Is your camera an EF mount? Not to promote myself here but I'm selling my 7D- it was my 4th backup body and only has 3k shots. I think it's about 4 years old, but it's in perfect condition. I'm 'retiring' to SAH so I'm selling all the gear I don't need. I bought it for $1800 and am looking to sell it for about $600. It was recently serviced by Canon and considered to be in refurbished condition.
