I like most types of fish, but I hate tuna fish!! I like grilled tuna and tuna sushi, there's just something about tuna fish that really grosses me out.

I like Salmon and tilapia. Yikes about tilapia though. Hmm... it's an easy fish to make. I just recently made tilapia katsu in the oven and it was great with tonkatsu sauce and rice. I would eat chilean sea bass all the time if they weren't on the endangered species list! I think they are? I also like to steam my fish Chinese style with soy, ginger, and scallions. Yum.

@Mrs. Bee: Have you thought about purchasing wild tilapia? If you can't find that by you rock fish is very similar to tilapia. I cook salmon, tilapia, rock, sea bass, ono, halibut basically almost any fish that I can get fresh wild at the market.

Interesting article. My grandparents had a large fish pond in the Philippines and raised tilapia. Now I'm curious what they fed them.

As for our fish consumption, we eat salmon. I found these wonderful quality, frozen salmon off cuts. They're large cuts, just not perfectly uniform, the great thing about them is they're actually a LOT better quality than the more expensive cuts around here. DH's a pro at cooking salmon so I leave it up to him. Another fish we eat is pangasius, I use it for when I make red curry stew.

salmon, trout, snapper, cod, halibut...

usually we just season it with salt and pepper, sear it and finish it in the oven. then top it off with some fresh lemon. delicious!

We eat lots of fish since my hubs is pescaterian. We do salmon, cod, tuna, plaice, sole, trout and sometimes sea bass. It's quick and easy to cook once you get used to it! Before we got married, I never cooked fish and found it really intimidating- but now I love it! Good luck!

We used to eat a lot of tilapia too but since have cut down. But we cook mostly salmon - I used to hate cooked salmon but that's because I used to over cook it. Sometimes, we'll also eat trout, halibut, or rock fish.

I don't really like cooking fish and have only started cooking it regularly for the family. I do love eating it--- just not cooking it!

I don't like salmon so I cook tilapia, but after reading this article about how tilapia is fed corn and soy and isn't really that good for you, I don't think I want to continue eating it!
