No shimmer. I like a colored gloss, like a pink or coral. The camera amplifies shimmer and will make you look like an oil slick. Not good. </p> <p>Lots of mascara and use black, even if you normally wear brown. The black is a better contrast in photos and will make your eyes pop more.</p> <p>Definitely wear blush. You'll look washed out without it.</p> <p>Do some basic contour/highlight. Dust a slightly darker powder or bronzer around the edges of your face (hairline, under the cheekbones. I would probably do lipstick -- you'll want everything to be a lot darker/more noticeable than what you'd wear just walking around because otherwise it won't be very visible in photos. One time I got my makeup done professionally for some photos and I was really nervous because I thought it was SOOOO dark and over the top.
