Honestly I didn't really like any of them. They were all the kids pets, but my sisters were more interested in the small animals than I was. We had a dog, we rescued 3 newborn abandoned kittens, 3 hampsters, 2 bunnies, gerbils that kept reproducing, hermit crabs, fish tanks fresh &amp; salt water, box turtles... He was cute, but he peed on me and stuff, so I wasn't really that sad when he dided. I had a lizard for a brief time, but we caught it in the wild and and didn't know what to feed it or anything so it died really quickly. I still feel bad about that one. And we had a pekingese and I had some fish once.</p> <p>I always wanted a snake, but the closest I got to that was the injured one I found at school that died and then I took it home and hid it under my bed. It was gone when we moved, so I assume the dog ate it. Lots of fun and none were too high maintenance... though my parents totally got rid of the canary behind my back because it's "song" was INSANE.
