We just do gummies for daily vitamins and probiotics. Flinstones brand for the vitamins. It's just easier, dd looks forward to it. We also keep florastor and culturelle powder for antibiotic use and tummy bugs.

For probiotic we do this. He loves it and we've definitely seen an improvement in his regularity:
https://www.netnutri.com/renew-life-ultimate-flora-kids-probiotic-3-billion-berry-licious-60-chewable-tablets?gclid=CP6Z-8zF-dICFZmIswod5zYMag

We haven't been advised to do a multi-vitamin yet, but I would probably just do the old school Flinstones.

We only do gummy vitamins. We had tried chewable flinstones with my older and she didn't like them. She now takes chewable Claritin, so it might be worth trying again.

In our mix:

2 year old: 2 Lil Critters Immune C and 1 Zarbees Elderberry Immune Support (adult gummies). I just now realized the Lil Critters aren't a multi with extra C. I need to add a multi for her.

5 year old: 4 smarty pants kids complete, 2 Zarbees Elderberry Immune Support (adult gummies).

This mix has really helped the girls.

My daughter takes the rainbow light kids one star vitamin. It's not a gummy, has iron but only 50% (which works for us, more and it upsets her belly), and has both vitamin D and a probiotic. It's decently priced on Amazon but not as cheap as Flintstones.

ETA they have some versions with and some without iron so make sure you double check to get the right one.

Mine take the Flinstones chewables per our ped's suggestion (plus it's what I took as a kid!) My 2 year old takes the toddler version and my 4 year old the iron one.

Flintstones with iron, it is what our doctor recommended. It doesn't have vitamin D, but he has a lot of milk, so I don't worry about that.

DS1 eats gummy vitamins.

He takes a Costco kids multi gummy, 2 Lil Critters Omega-3, a Digestive Advantage probiotic gummy (I just buy the adult ones and give him 1 as opposed to the more expensive kids ones where you have to give 2), and 2 Lil Critters Immune-C gummies (or the Target version of it).

We do not take a calcium supplement because he eats plenty of yogurt and milk. The multi gives him like 75% of his daily vitamin D needs, but his milk is Vitamin D fortified, so I think that bridges the gap. I do not believe my son is iron deficient because he eats meat/fish, eggs, or breakfast cereal just about every day and gets tofu once or twice a week. He also gets raisins fairly regularly as a snack at school. So I don't feel the need to supplement that.

He honestly eats so much yogurt and probiotic drinks like Yakult that I don't believe he needs a probiotic gummy on a day to day basis. BUT he gets antibiotics every so often for ear infections and I don't want to start probiotics WHEN he needs them since it takes time for your system to get used to. Plus my son doesn't eat when he's sick, so trying to get him to eat yogurt then is a pain. I'd rather just have him in the routine of taking his probiotic gummy every day and have it covered.

The Immune-C was just something I started on a lark last fall but I really feel like its made a difference in terms of how often he's gotten sick this winter and the duration of those illnesses. We've had a very cold wet winter in CA, he spent 2 weeks in Michigan, we had air travel several times (which in the past was a guarantee that he would get very sick), but he was only sick a handful of times this year and only missed school a few days. And when he did get sick he would rebound in a day or two. So maybe its coincidence, but I'm sticking with it.

So that's 6 gummies a day. He thinks its a treat like fruit snacks and eat them as a dessert after dinner. Fine.

A local mom group I'm in swears by Klaire Labs (can be found on Amazon). Meanwhile, this has been in my cart for a while -

I don't have a non-gummy option for vitamins yet... She has been eating the Zarbees ones.

@T.H.O.U.: I give LO #1 a probiotic from time to time when he had a bad bout of diarrhea. Here's what I use.

https://smile.amazon.com/Culturelle-Packets-Daily-Probiotic-Supplement/dp/B001Y8EOHW/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1490623604&sr=1-1-spons&keywords=kids%2Bprobiotics&th=1

For multi-vitamin, I got a free sample of the Honest Company kids gummy. LO likes it. I may get another bottle for him soon.

I would also love to find something as a pro-biotic even though they eat a yogurt almost daily. We have poop problems here.

My girls doctor wants them to start taking a multi-vitamin, with vitamin D and iron in it. What vitamins/brands does your LO take? I prefer non-gummy ones, but open to suggestions.
