i think i remember it taking a bit, but it was after i delivered it that was really lame with my OB having to massage inside and out to get my uterus to start contracting to get smaller. i was losing blood, but not quite enough for a hemorrhage.

It was a breeze both times. I didn't have to push and it didn't hurt at all.It just plopped out. I thought it felt kind of gross coming out. Haha

Just a little push which didnt hurt. But even after it came out, I still wanted to push....like, down there. It was a very weird feeling.

It's weird, but I have zero memory of that part. Like others, I do totally remember the pain of the stitches (I remember saying that they hurt more than natural childbirth), but the placenta must have come out really easily.

It came out with just a push it two. It was a little painful, but I didn't care at that point. I did ask to see it and the doctor got really excited to explain everything to my mom and I (my Dad and DH passed on seeing it!). It was gross but pretty neat at the same time.

Mine just sort of fell out on its own while the doctor was working on stitching me up. The stitching part was pretty uncomfortable, so I was far more focused on that pain and checking out my new daughter than what was going on with my placenta. I wouldn't have even known it came out except that the doctor said "here comes the placenta!". I did have an epidural, so I'm sure I would have felt it if I hadn't been pretty numb down there.

It was a quick push when they were stitching me up and cleaning up LO. It only hurt when the nurse pushed on my uterus to start the decreasing process. I hated that postpartum more than anything. It made the after pains worse.

I don't even remember. I thought about it after that I didn't even notice/feel her taking her out at all. I was holding R and I know she was working in that area but didn't feel anything. I just remember her saying I had a spot that wouldn't stop bleeding so she left some gauze up there for a couple hours.

It was WEIRD! They gave me an injection so I didn't have to push, it just plopped out - maybe 5 minutes after DD was born. I've heard that you don't notice it but I totally did, I felt a sharp and yet dull ache around the cervix/up inside area (maybe a contraction?? Maybe the pressure of it sliding through? I don't know) then a "flobobidibop" sensation as it plopped out!

Not have to push I think they just pulled it out. I never even saw what it looked like!
