Next was tiny pieces of broccoli, very well steamed. The first and a half or so of giving her anything was more to let her taste things, explore, and see what food was all about. We started on the early side because she was so eager and interested in food. Now at 6.5 months, she loves food. We did baby led weaning mostly. I tried oatmeal at one point and she has never been a fan of it. Never bothered with rice cereal. She likes the sweet potato and avocado both right away!
