I get really annoyed when people say that breastfeeding is how mamas bond with their babies. As if my baby is less bonded to me because I don't breastfeed. Probably a tie between cost, health benefits (to me and to X), and the fact that I'd be able to control what went into his body better than I could if he was formula fed. I really, truly believe breastmilk the best thing for my baby. Breastfeeding reduces the risk of her getting diabetes, asthma, allergies, eczema - not to mention all those anti-bodies protecting her from illness. </p>
