I guess i'll have to start doing that. I guess i feel like i'm bad for just leaving her in an unfamiliar environment!</p> <p>@autumnlove: I don't start work until the end of the month, so we're allowing 3 weeks of transition time! I felt like the worst mama ever!</p> <p>It seems like transitioning LOs to daycare is much easier when it's done earlier, rather than the 1 year mark when they're more likely to have separation anxiety. He loves it there. DD was pretty good about daycare in the beginning and it only became a problem when she was around 18m. Now, he loves it and in fact cried once when I picked him UP from daycare at the end of teh day! That said, it was hard on ME. I cried every day the first week of daycare. </p> <p>We're super fortunate that we haven't had to do CIO at this point (9.5 months). It was so bad that i told DH to drop her off yesterday to see if it would be better. I thought CIO was bad, but her cries at daycare are 10x worse!! </p>
