Back then I, as a new mom, was so paranoid about giving food to the baby and I stick with the "safest" thing that are in most books and blogs... but thinking back I think DS would have been fine with bananas and such. Ended up doing rice cereal (which I hadn't planned on). Next baby I will probably skip and just wait longer if baby isn't into it.
