Probably the best one was Hawaii - we did 3 days on Oahu, 3 on Maui, and 3 on Hawaii. It was the 1st time I ever snorkeled, and we went up to Haleakala, drove the road to Hana, hiked across old lava flows, went to an authentic luau... Yeah, that wins.</p> <p>When I was 3, we drove cross-country in our old VW bus from PA to WA. We stopped in tons of National Parks and went hiking and stuff. If I could remember it, that'd probably be my favorite. We went to Japan to visit my Aunt and Uncle who were stationed there and then we used our miles from the Japan trip to go to Florida. My mom was going through a period of being very scared to fly so she opted not to come and I think she still regrets it! We stopped in Stockbridge and visited the home of Herman Melville and one of Norman Rockwell's studios and a bunch of places like that, and then went to a family wedding near Boston. That was definitely our best family trip because Maui is gorgeous!
