We have hardwood floors and our lil boy was trying to walk. All walkers were too fast/slick on the hardwood floors with their plastic wheels. The y-bike has rubber, 360 wheels and was so smooth on our floors and didn't fly out from underneath him. It also turns around to be sat on and rode like a bike so it lasted him awhile!
